Privacy Policy
What we collect
- When you contact us or book: your name, contact details, and what you tell us about your situation.
- After you become a client: identity, immigration, employment, education, family and financial information needed for your application.
- When you visit this website: essential technical information needed to deliver the site.
Why we collect it
To respond to you, provide consultations, prepare and submit applications, meet our obligations to the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, keep required records, and keep this website secure.
Consent
We collect, use and share your personal information with your consent, or as the law allows or requires. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal and professional obligations and reasonable notice. Withdrawing may limit our ability to assist you.
Who we share it with
- IRCC and other authorities, as needed for your application.
- Service providers who help us run our business, such as website hosting (Hostinger), online booking, payments (Square), file sharing and email (Google), and video meetings.
- The CICC or others, where required by law or our professional obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Where it is stored
Some service providers store information outside Canada, so it may be subject to the laws of those places, including the United States.
How long we keep it
- Client files: the CICC's Client File Management Regulation requires client files to be kept for a minimum of six years after the file is closed. We keep them for at least that long and then securely destroy them.
- Enquiries from people who do not become clients: kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.
Safeguards
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections and access controls. Client documents are shared through private Google Drive folders that only you and we can open. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and raise concerns about how we handle it. Send requests to Md Anisul Haque at anisul@haqueimmigration.com.

Our online booking and payment pages are provided by Square, and Square may set its own cookies when you use them. Please review their privacy policies.
